Guilt by Association
Living in Silence Limited Edition
MEG101
Release Date: August 22, 2006

A passive-aggressive aural onslaught is the nucleus of guilt by association's debut effort, Living In Silence.  A single trip through these nine tracks will take your emotions on a roller coaster ride from the depths of human heartache to the adrenaline high you get right after you bury your first body. With heavy guitars and a rhythm section locking everything together, there is a groove and a consistency to guilt by association s sound. However, while the vocals can go from a whisper to a scream at a moment s notice, the cathartic overtone always remains. As the story unfolds, it makes you grateful that the events at least aren t happening to you, but if they have, you know you re not alone. Living In Silence leaves nothing to the imagination but allows room for interpretation. The album was self-produced in the heart of Hollywood in only five days on a beer budget and at a blitzkrieg pace, effectively capturing the raw energy and rough edges that define guilt by association s sound. An unflinching and unapologetic glimpse into the darker side of human consciousness with themes of lies, deception, murder, break-ups and rape, Living In Silence should come with a warning label for the faint of heart. Though the band can run the stylistic gamut from hard to soft without trouble or hesitation, this album is anything but the calm before the storm. It s the destruction left in the wake.

Monroe Entertainment Group is pleased to announce the re-issue of Guilt by Association’s debut CD Living In Silence. The band’s appearance on MTV's Battle for Ozzfest, has given this Los Angeles based rock-core outfit the opportunity to meticulously refine their effusive, soul piercing blend of hard rock, metal, and punk. Their high energy, bombastic, riveting live show, has created a following of fans whose ardency rivals the fanaticism of Savonarola. It is no wonder fans have dubbed themselves, the Inmates.
